Nichts geht mehr kann ich mir nur durch einen starken EMP vorstellen.

Einem EMP entsprechende Wirkungen werden auch durch Impakte ausgelöst.

In both cases, the US was able to determine that the explosions were natural phenomena and not nuclear attacks."

Offenbar reichen da schon Boldiden von wenigen Metern Größe, um eine ganze Stadt lahmzulegen. Das wäre wahrscheinlicher als ein Gamma-Strahlen-Blitz.
