Hello EM..

Well, I have struggled to understand the German mentality. I could not even understand my own German parents (and they could not understand why I was not "normal" either with all the phenomena). There are certain terms like "klikkenbildung" and "rüffeln" and a sense that a lot of "arroganz" is growing here and in other forums, - but who am I to judge? I try to love everyone anyway.

It is all part of the great prophecy that people will grow "cold" toward each other in the last days. The old type of "freundlichkeit" and "höflichkeit" have been destroyed by "falschen stolz" and "hoffart" everywhere you look and go. You can still find "gemütlichkeit" at Oktoberfest and kneipen after 2 -3 drinks, maybe everyone should drink more ;-))) *ruelps*

I have always tried to love all people where ever I go, and if you show people true love they will show it back. Only the ones that have gone over to the evil will not return love anymore. They are lost or losing ground fast.

When I was a child, I had often strange dreams of red-hot hailstones falling from the sky that burned everything where it fell. Many wicked people who acted in the way I described above were killed, and those that were left turned to goodness and love again through the lesson.

100? no, but after I had a third epiphany about 30 years ago, my age mentality "froze' at 27 then, exactly like John Denver's song "Rocky Mountain High" - ...he was born in the summer of his twenty-seventh year... so I am a middle-aged man with a "27 year old soul" trapped inside.

"Die gedanken sind frei" and the German people still have freedom of speech, -but for how long? Detlef is a cool Forum Administrator and a good judge, he's sitting way down there in South America 7000 miles from the "scene" where all this stuff is taking place, so he has a whole different perspective on it. BUT he is still obligated to conduct this forum subject to German laws because it is registered in Germany. The rest of the way that forums are conducted is by "innere politische korrektheit" and that develops through "klikkenbildung".

But I see a forum like a big Smörgasbjord where everybody brings some type of food, you can pick out what you want to taste or eat and talk to people about the flavor and texture of the food. To condemn a cook just because the food is not your type is not fair in my opinion. No one forces you to eat, no one forces you to open a thread and read it either! Nobody likes to recieve "willkür" but everyone wants to give it to someone else.

I love the German people, I have visited my relatives often there from Rügen all the way down to Chiemgau and would like to live there, but I have "klaustrophobie" because I lived in a big forest in America so long without any close neighbors.

Yes, and greet Gaia Man for me, will you? His old e-mail address doesn't seem to work anymore. -Probably got spammed to death. ;-)))

Thanks,

- Basey
