English translation for my friend MattB in Germany...

Stone circles and energy fields - "Vein-stars" at Buerserberg

(Featured 9/14/2005 on 3sat televison Germany)

Gerhard Pirchl has been busy dowsing with a pendelum for several years. He found a good number of stone circles which he terms "vein-stars" at Buerserberg near Bludenz in Voralrlberg. These circles may have served to aid humans living thousands of years ago, to orient themselves somehow.

He walks around the region and pendelums for water veins but finds "yellow stones" instead, that appear to have been placed by human hands.

He has found larger stone arrangements near megalthic stuctures that he has traced as far as an area of 20km, and in his opinion these were placed for purposes of orientation thousands of years ago.

Some of these "energy lines" pass through locations where churches had been built at a much later period in time, even where the points of entry and exit were marked on the church walls with crosses.

Some of these crosses, however, appear elsewhere as well, but with light sconces at those locations. May this present an inconsistancy of the claim? Are there any other factors that would discount his claims?

He has written a book called "Geheimnis Adernsterne" (Secrets of the Vein-stars) by Gerhard Pirchl available from Folio Verlag 2004
