Your American counterpart went "durchgedreht" after some pretty heavy visions a few weeks ago, and decided to learn how to farm with horses, and spent several weeks with the Amish on a farm plowing, harrowing, mowing and rakeing hay... and running a device called a "mistverteiler" -- which gives new meaning to the expression "when the shit hits the fan..."

I now ride a wagon pulled by a horse, no gasoline needed - just some hay and oats and a few litres of water... -parked my car on the street with a "for sale" sign on it. AND -- what am I going to do with the 6000 litres of diesel fuel I've got stored...generate electricity in an emergency I guess...

I counted my canning jars today, plem plem plem plem plem plem plem, 678 total (einmachglaeser mit deckel) 182 filled with apple sauce, greenbeans, peaches, pears, beets, summer squash, zuchini, kale, brussel sprouts, etc. etc. -84 filled with honey!

plem plem plem plem plem plem plem- both sound like horses hoofs or diesel tractor engine... take your pick.
