Russland hat sechs weitere nukleare Langstrecken-Raketen vom Typ Topol-M in Dienst gestellt.
"The news follows a report in August by the US Department for defense ("Military Power of the People's Republic of China") that stated that China is planning to significantly increase its nuclear arsenal to maintain the "credibility" of its nuclear force in the face of missile defence."

When I first started writing about the coming dark age, 6-7 years ago, I mentioned the problem of nuclear proliferation as an aspect of 'disintegration'. Then Russia started destroying its nuclear missiles (to win financial concessions from the US) and it seemed that the 'dark age' thesis might be wrong. But this article shows that the underlying problem remains. In general, in assessing the evidence for a coming dark age, it is important to focus on the ten-year-plus view, rather than on shorter timescales, where the continuous fluctuations of history confuse the picture.Gruss
