Frage zur Wetterprognose für Winter `03, Yellowstone...

Guten Abend,

in einem der letzten Threads über das Wettergeschehen des kommenden Winters, war auch die Rede davon

wie die atlantische Wetterküche von den Hoch- und Tiefdruckgebieten über Nordamerika beeinflußt wird. (Hast Du darüber geschrieben Apollo?)

Jetzt fand ich einen Text aus dem Farmer`s Almanac, der zu 80% richtig liegt mit seinen Vorhersagen.
Angenommen, das stimmt so, welche Rückschlüsse können dann für`s europäische Winterwetter gezogen werden?
Korreliert dieser entsprechend mit den europäischen Wetterprognosen?


Another long, cold winter, says Farmers Almanac. August 26, 2003. Beginning in February, says the latest edition of the Almanac, storms will hammer much of the eastern half of the country with no letup until early spring. Parts of New England will get snow into late April.

It looks like it will be reminiscent of last year, with a never-ending series of storms, said Sandi Duncan, the almanac's managing editor. The West also faces a cold, snowy winter, while mild weather is predicted in the Southeast.

The almanac, which claims an 80 percent success rate, has been predicting the weather for 187 years. It uses a secret method for its forecasts linked to sunspots, the position of the planets, and tidal action of the moon. Last year, the almanac predicted colder-than-normal temperatures and snow from Maine to Colorado.

PPS..: Häng gleich hier einen Bericht von einem Notfallmediziner aus West Yellowstone/Montana dran, der in letzter Zeit gehäuft Fälle von Epilepsie beobachtet, bei Leuten, die nie betroffen waren:

A paramedic in Bozeman, Montana, called Coast to Coast AM at approximately 10:45 p.m. Pacific tonite. He stated that there is a large increase in human seizure activity including many people who have no history of seizures.
