In einigen Prophezeihungen wird ja davon gesprochen, das Deutschland von den USA keinen Schutz zu erwarten hat, falls Russland angreift.

Hab mir jetzt mal den Spass gemacht, mein linkes Gedankengut in einem amerikanischem Forum (freerepublic.com, sehr republikanisch) zu streuen.

Mein Beitrag:
"The result of a war agains Iraq will be:
- Many civilians died
- Thousands of dead US soldiers
- The arabic nations quit their support for the anti-terror-program
- Propably more terror strikes in the US as well as in allied countries as an act of revenge

It's not true that germans are against the USA - they liked Bill Clinton, they respect Colin Powell - but they propably are against George W. Bush.

The reason:
Bill Clinton was a clever guy, W. Bush is a madhead. Clinton cared about his land, but also knew about diplomacy. Bush seems not capable of solving the inner problems of his land, but only leads the US from one war into the next one. And doing this he does not give a damn about what other countries say."

I am not surprised that the Germans are pacifists. Nor am I surprised they are so hysterically loony in their "war for peace". ;)

Your naive comments are so typical of all the German guys with multiple-pierced noses/ears/eyebrows/lips/tongues and "Bart Simpson" or dreadlock hairdos.

As an American female living in Munich, I see your posts as "par for the course," coming from a typical German conformist in an ultra-conformist society. Never question authority, and follow the "pack mentality" as proscribed by your biased Left-wing German media. Oh, and don't leave home without your strategically-ripped "Che Guevara" T-Shirt cuz he is the coolest Stalinist around.

If there is hope for Germany, the future is with the women here. German women tend to be tougher than their mostly-wimpy male counterparts, and I can't see them tossing on a burqua without a fight.

We absolutely must get our soldiers off stinking German soil. There are plenty of other potential hosts in Eastern Europe who would love to have us and would be grateful for our friendship and assitance.
