Earth's geomagnetic field is expected to be at active to minor storm levels into Friday night, as the high speed solar wind continues to buffet the magnetosphere. Conditions are then expected return to more normal levels for Saturday and Sunday, as the solar wind calms.Solar Data
The current sunspot number is 149, and the solar wind speed recently clocked in at 668 kilometers per second.The solar wind density was 1.6 protons per cubic centimeter.
