The image of the man being middle-eastern is incorrect. Nor is he Hispanic. He is well tanned, as I believe he had to do a lot of outdoor work---remember, he was not able to stay employed...which may have been because of seasonal work, like landscaping or pool maintenance, or air conditioning repair.
