WASHINGTON – Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld on Thursday rejected a Japanese newspaper report about U.S. troops in Iraq that affected Wall Street, which reacted strongly to rumors that a new U.S. war against Saddam Hussein is brewing.
Rumsfeld said Thursday that small groups of Special Forces soldiers may well be in northern Iraq but said no large groups of troops – a possible invasion force – had been dispatched.

Wenn ich das jetzt richtig lese sind Truppen im Irak und bereiten die Opposition auf den Ernstfall vor. Der demnächst sicher ansteht.
