“Through Russia, comes the hope of the world.”

Cayce made one prediction in particular which has drawn tremendous skepticism and doubt from the limited thinking that prevailed in the world during his life and continued long after his death. Humanity has never understood this amazing prediction and today the majority of people still cannot accept it.

The prophetic words that he uttered from his trance state were, “Through Russia, comes the hope of the world.” One can only imagine the furor that arose from such a simple truth, which came during the height of American fear of Communism and Bolshevism, a prediction made at a time when Russia was seen as the enemy of all things materialistic and good. Of course this statement was used to disqualify Cayce’s tremendous knowledge and understanding.

Rudolph Steiner, another great mystic and visionary, also made a similar prediction to Edgar Cayce’s. Quite independently and maybe even before Cayce, Steiner was saying much the same about the very same country. Its capitol city would become the next "Rome", he said. In effect it would become civilisation's centre of gravity in the third millennium but this would only come about after much upheaval and tribulation.
